Skin care and make-up for the cheeks

Focusing your attention on the cheeks is an easy way to breathe life into your skin and create a more defined facial structure. The right blusher or bronzer can totally transform your face and you don’t need to be a professional make-up artist to harness the powers of the right cheek product.

Lacklustre skin is common amongst dry and mature skin types, so to correct this you need to use a brightening shade of blusher to add radiance back into the skin. Vibrant shades of pink and coral work well lightly dusted over the cheeks as do shimmering blushers that will reflect the light.

Adding shimmer to the apples of your cheeks (the fleshy part that appears when you smile) will also help to create the look of rounded, plump cheeks that are associated with youth. This technique is great to use on mature skins, as a loss of firmness and facial definition is common especially during the menopause.

Alternatively, if you want to create a more defined face shape, you can apply a matte shade of bronzer along the contours of the cheeks, ensuring that you gently buff the product in to create a natural shadow in the hollows of the face. We have also included the perfect brushes to apply all of these cheek products so you can easily create the look of happy, healthy skin.
