Combat signs of fatigue and ageing while adding a natural-looking glow with the new James Read Sleep Mask Tan Face Retinol.

This multitasking gradual face tan uses Japanese-inspired Sleep Pack Technology combined with Hyaluronic Acid and Retinol which work together to moisturise, protect and minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles during beauty sleep. Multi-action Prodizia derived from Persian Silk Tree Bark Extract transforms a once lacklustre complexion by targeting discolouration and dullness, while working to gradually add a natural golden glow to the skin that lasts for days.

Suitable for all skin types, apply a thin layer to cleansed skin using fingers, blending into the hairline and decolletage. Wash hands after use and avoid contact with water for six to eight hours before rinsing. Start by using once or twice a week and gradually increase the frequency of application depending on skin’s needs.

Patch Test

If you are new to this product or any of its ingredients, we recommend completing a patch test first.

Use of Retinol

When using Retinol for the first time, it is important to allow the skin time to acclimatise to the active ingredient. Apply a small amount in the evening no more than twice a week, never on consecutive evenings, for at least two weeks. If the skin hasn’t suffered any extreme irritation or redness, start to increase the number of applications gradually over a period of weeks until you reach a number your skin is comfortable with. This could range from three nights to seven nights a week.

As Retinol can make the skin sensitive to sunlight, always apply a sunscreen to the skin every morning to prevent sun-induced inflammation and damage.
