Dramatically smooth out fine lines while evening out skin tone with the AGE Smart Overnight Retinol Repair 0.5% from Dermalogica.

This two-part treatment includes the active Overnight Retinol Cream (30ml) and the gentler, more nourishing Buffer Cream (15ml). The 0.5% micro-encapsulated pure Retinol in this concentrated night time treatment cream is a highly-effective way to speed up cell renewal and minimise the visible signs of ageing. Potent Peptides and antioxidant Vitamin C work together to correct discolouration and uneven skin tone, while Bio-energised Copper Amino Acid Complex has been clinically proven to minimise visible wrinkles and leave skin firmer. Added Ceramides and active Polysaccharides improve hydration, which helps to soften fine dehydration lines, while preventing severe flaking and dryness during use. Designed to be mixed together, this unique treatment makes a strong Vitamin A much-more tolerable for all skin types.

Suitable for most skin types, mix one part Overnight Retinol Repair with up to three parts Buffer Cream and apply to the face in the evening for two weeks. After this time, mix two parts Overnight Retinol Repair with one part Buffer Cream and apply to the skin nightly or as often as skin can tolerate it. Do not use in the same routine as an exfoliant or another Vitamin A product.

Use of Retinol

When using Retinol for the first time, it is important to allow the skin time to acclimatise to the active ingredient. Apply a small amount in the evening no more than twice a week, never on consecutive evenings, for at least two weeks. If the skin hasn’t suffered any extreme irritation or redness, start to increase the number of applications gradually over a period of weeks until you reach a number your skin is comfortable with. This could range from three nights to seven nights a week.

As Retinol can make the skin sensitive to sunlight, always apply a sunscreen to the skin every morning to prevent sun-induced inflammation and damage.
