Transform the quality and clarity of problem skin with the Paula’s Choice CLINICAL 1% Retinol Treatment.

This lightweight lotion combines 1% Pure Retinol to actively resurface and rejuvenate the skin from the surface down to the lower layers. This impressive ingredient stimulates collagen production to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while stimulating cell renewal to address sun damage, acne and large pores. Oat and Liquorice Root Extracts soothe the skin to minimise inflammation while hydrating agents keep the skin supple and smooth. With consistent use, skin becomes clearer, more radiant, smoother and more even in texture.

Suitable for most skin types, apply a small amount to cleansed skin in the evening for best results.

Apply one pump to cleansed skin on the face in the evening before applying a serum and/or moisturiser. Avoid contact with the lips and eye area. Start by applying no more than three nights a week before gradually increasing the frequency of application as skin acclimatises to the Retinol content.

Patch Test

If you are new to this product or any of its ingredients, we recommend completing a patch test first.

Use of Retinol

When using Retinol for the first time, it is important to allow the skin time to acclimatise to the active ingredient. Apply a small amount in the evening no more than twice a week, never on consecutive evenings, for at least two weeks. If the skin hasn’t suffered any extreme irritation or redness, start to increase the number of applications gradually over a period of weeks until you reach a number your skin is comfortable with. This could range from three nights to seven nights a week.

As Retinol can make the skin sensitive to sunlight, always apply a sunscreen to the skin every morning to prevent sun-induced inflammation and damage.
