The Resurgence Retinol Youth Renewal Serum is the latest innovation from Murad and promises to make Retinol accessible for all skin types.

The result of years of research, this new serum aims to minimise the appearance of fine lines and deep wrinkles, dark spots, dullness and slack skin without irritating or inflaming the skin. It contains specialist Retinol Tri-Active Technology made up of a fast-acting Retinoid (to boost cellular turnover), a time-released Retinol (which gradually melts into the skin to deliver the ingredient over a longer period of time), and a Retinol Booster (designed to enhance the skin’s receptivity to Retinol and its benefits). Added Hyaluronic Acid hydrates and plumps while Swertia Flower Extract soothes the skin, transforming its tone and texture in just four weeks.

Suitable for all skin types, massage into cleansed skin in the evening followed by a moisturiser for best results.

Massage into cleansed skin in the evening, followed by moisturiser, for best results. Can be used every night but if irritation occurs, reduce usage to every few days until the skin acclimatises.

Vacuum Pump

This product has been packaged using an airless vacuum pump to protect it against oxidisation and to increase the shelf life of the ingredients.

Before first use, turn the product upside down and tap the bottom a few times to loosen the product, then return the product to an upright position and depress the pump at least 50 times or until the product dispenses.

Patch Test

If you are new to this product or any of its ingredients, we recommend completing a patch test first.

Use of Retinol

When using Retinol for the first time, it is important to allow the skin time to acclimatise to the active ingredient. Apply a small amount in the evening no more than twice a week, never on consecutive evenings, for at least two weeks. If the skin hasn’t suffered any extreme irritation or redness, start to increase the number of applications gradually over a period of weeks until you reach a number your skin is comfortable with. This could range from three nights to seven nights a week.

As Retinol can make the skin sensitive to sunlight, always apply a sunscreen to the skin every morning to prevent sun-induced inflammation and damage.
