Tackle stubborn patches of pigmentation on the face and body with the PharmaClinix Lightenex Gold Serum.

Formulated with a blend of active acids to exfoliate damaged cells and brighten dark spots, this overnight serum helps achieve and maintain a more even skin tone. Used regularly, it also slows the production of melanin while soothing natural extracts help prevent AHA-induced inflammation and irritation.

Suitable for most skin types, apply to cleansed skin every evening for best results. After around two weeks, increase to twice a day.

Apply every evening to cleansed skin before gradually introducing to twice a day use over a period of around 2 weeks.

This product has been packaged using an airless vacuum pump to protect it against oxidisation and to increase the shelf life of the ingredients.

Before first use, turn the product upside down and tap the bottom a few times to loosen the product, then return the product to an upright position and depress the pump at least 50 times or until the product dispenses.

Patch Test

If you are new to this product or any of its ingredients, we recommend completing a patch test first.

Use of Retinol

When using Retinol for the first time, it is important to allow the skin time to acclimatise to the active ingredient. Apply a small amount in the evening no more than twice a week, never on consecutive evenings, for at least two weeks. If the skin hasn’t suffered any extreme irritation or redness, start to increase the number of applications gradually over a period of weeks until you reach a number your skin is comfortable with. This could range from three nights to seven nights a week.

As Retinol can make the skin sensitive to sunlight, always apply a sunscreen to the skin every morning to prevent sun-induced inflammation and damage.

The Use of AHAs

Products containing acids can make the skin prone to dryness and sun damage, so introduce them into your routine gradually and remember to apply a sunscreen every morning to protect against UV rays.
